Religious Dogs?

Dogs would have never invented the atomic bomb; the atomic bone perhaps, but not the atomic bomb

I Know Dogs

Hi
Hope all is well with you and your dog.

At the last MENSA dog council meeting for above average dogs, the main keynote speaker Dr. Dogma emphasized the importance of health and nutrition for us while savoring our chow and life.

Manger dogsHe also offered some very stimulating food for thought. I pondered this for days and after extensive research in the MENSA above average dog library in Embarrass, MN, the idea that the dog created spirituality really hit me.

My research revealed that dyslexic dogs really founded the basis for spirituality in humans. If you spell ‘dog’ backwards what do you have? God. The only conclusion is that dogs are closer to God than a scared cow or gold statue.

Yet, humans stole the connection capitalized ‘dog’ and relegated the dog to second-class status despite their love, loyalty, intelligence, and devotion to man and created religions about these qualities.

Do you know of any dogs that pass this test? (Humans, also, for that matter?)

Do dogs have the gift of healing?
Are they responsible?
Are they enthusiastic?
Are they forgiving?
Do they provide love?
A sense of grace?
Do they make us laugh?

Dogs pass. Humans?

Future blogs will address each of the above if you are interested.

I rest my case. They are divine! Check out my favorite article for getting a dog.

To Savor Or Not To Savor

My dog dictionary defines savor: ‘to taste with zest; relish’

At the last MENSA dog council meeting for above average dogs, the main keynote speaker Dr. Dogma, emphasized the importance of health and nutrition for us while savoring our chow and life.

I like to bite into a Little Debbie or Moon Pie now and then and just roll it around in my mouth to taste the sweet cream and chocolate. I suck the juices and flavor down my throat and smile. I like to do this with other no no’s as well and I know better. Then I get sick. Real sick. I know a dog (Luke) that just overdid it and died.

The editor (Robert) has told me many times not to eat this stuff cause it can kill you and he’s right. (I thought to myself what hypocrites’ humans are.) Their doctors tell them not to smoke, drink, nor overeat and they don’t listen. They get buried just like Luke cause they savored too much when they knew better. Savor is good, too much is goodbye.

Dr. Dogma said stick to the basics like cooked meat, vegetables, and minerals. For more information on dog food and nutrition, Click Here.

How To Groom Man’s Best Friend

The most affectionate creature in the world is a wet dog.

Hi

Hope all is well with you and your dog.

I don’t know about you but I enjoy a good bath and brushing. Then I like to have a good shake and perhaps rub up against a nice soft dry sofa.

Salon DogSome dudes prefer going to the ‘groomer for a trim and nail clipping. I’m not that stylish and like to have the editor (Robert) do the honors. (He likes showers instead… and grooms himself in some very peculiar ways. Robert looks into a strange glass that reflects his body. While drying himself with a huge towel, he inhales several deep breaths, turns in different directions while looking in the glass and tries to flex his muscles.) Then he mutters something like, ‘damn *******.)

I know when I’m not wanted and leave the bathroom.

Let me tell you what dogs like and should have done.

Proper grooming for dogs not only has aesthetic purposes but also adds to a dog’s holistic growth physically and psychologically.
